Wall Flower
You said you loved the rose with the drooping pedals,
But it was all a lie.
Now her tears Is the only water she drinks,
As she lets out a soft sigh.
And can you hear her scream your name as she howls and cries?
And when you walk by, you better look into her eyes.
Because she loved you like anything and everything she could ever have.
And you just walked away, you just walked away.
Why?
Watch the dead rose turn into a beautiful garden.
She’ll let someone else care for her for a little while.
You don’t have to worry about her. She doesn’t blame you
She just wants to know who and why.
So kiss the pavement good-bye girl.
Taking chances you took too much.
You wanted and now you got your answer.
Isn’t that itself enough?
Apathy and ignorance won’t heal anything boy.
You say she’s crazy and maybe it’s true.
But it’s only because she loved you.
And now I…have to get out of here! Have to leave!
The pain…oh god it’s killing me! Why didn’t you save me?
And now… you’re just walking away, walking away!
How could you do this to a flower, my wall flower?
He has a smile that lights up the whole room.
And there’s only one girl that makes him smile,
And it isn’t you.
Well it’s just a story that’s been told since the beginning of time.
Girl likes boy, boy likes someone else,
Ain’t that some darn sad rhyme?
I tried burying you like I did the past.
But the past, the past rose from the grave.
Only if I wasn’t its slave.
And now I…have to get out of here! Have to leave!
The pain…oh god it’s killing me! Why didn’t you save me?
And now… you’re just walking away, walking away!
How could you do this to a flower, my wall flower?
So I’ll try to make unrequited amends,
And maybe we can still be friends.
So I guess it’s the end of this never ending song.
I didn’t think two weeks, it’d be so long.
But now you’re gone.
The flower wilts on her shadowy grave.
Don’t you think it would be nice,
For her you could have saved?
