If What's Meant To Be Will Always Find It's Way, Then You Weren't The One
You come on over just to
pull up a chair.
I thought you were going to talk to me,
but I don't care that you didn't;
though the look in my eyes
could have said it different.
It's not that I don't like you anymore,
or miss the time's we've had before.
It just strengthens my heart a little to say
that I'm living without you and life's okay.
So don't think otherwise.
I've taken the first step to getting over you.
And maybe it's best if our lips never meet again,
Or we fall back into the phase of being close friends,
because if what's meant to be will always find it's way,
then unless we're seeing each other as before day by day,
we've got nothing to worry about
and I've got the confidence to say
that I'm living without you and life's okay.
