Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.

Oh hey there you were standing there; trying to look like you don’t care that nobody sees you. You try to fly under the radar, and just stay out of everyone’s way. Why do you need attention drawn to you anyway? You wanna be loud but you’re afraid of what people will say, so you just stay invisible, like a fly on the wall, on an average day.

Yeah so you’re just a fly on the wall, a person in the crowd, you see and you hear, but you never make a sound. No one notices you and you stay out of their way, going through the same routine every day. Right now your just fly on the wall, but baby you’ll be a butterfly one day.

You try to speak up but people keep pushing you down, there never seems to be a way, to get out of the shell that you’ve been hiding in for so long, sometimes it just seems easier to stay. But you’re a fighter, you always have been and somehow you’ll break through, baby it will be rough, but I know that your tough and you’ll make there someday.

Now when you look back to that time in your life, you’ll see baby that you always were a butterfly, trying to figure out what to do with your life, do you change or do you just stay the same? Well look at you now honey you made me proud, finding out how to be you, you’ve always been a butterfly inside and now every sees to.

This is about a friend and myself, breaking out of our shells, as we started high school. Both of us being very quiet didn't really see how we could stand out. Yet through a year of change we found out that we never were just nobodys, and no one ever goes unnoticed.
