Caroline's Garden
Caroline is digging up her garden again,
Well, me, I'd never be that brave.
We would sit and we'd laugh,
about the bees and dying tulips,
but I never once took her to complain.
But I guess with all the stormy weather lately,
the shriveled bulbs became too much to bear.
They never had a chance to bloom
in this bottom-feeding town,
and neither did she, no, neither did she.
The Summer's on her way out,
with the Fall just creeping in,
and there's no chance for those tulips to be saved.
