Winter Wonderland
Sometimes it seems like I walk on thin ice.
Sometimes I wish it would break,
So I could fall through and almost drown.
Would you notice me then?
Or would you continue to turn your back?
I shouldn't have to wish a single thing,
Just so I can have your attention.
If you care like you say,
Don't make me walk on ice.
Welcome to this winter wonderland,
Where no one can feel a thing.
Frozen over and freezing cold.
This blizzard won't go away.
There's no warmth to give.
100 degrees couldn't melt what surrounds us.
Turned into solid water, all you do is stare.
Until you realize that you can skate on me.
Lace them up and tread on my life.
Not caring about the damage left behind.
Too bad you missed the danger.
Like mine, your luck is lacking.
It's not hard to read the signs I post.
Watch out, my dear, some spots are thin.
I wouldn't want you falling in.
Welcome to this winter wonderland,
Where no one can feel a thing.
Frozen over and freezing cold.
This blizzard won't go away.
There's no warmth to give.
100 degrees couldn't melt what surrounds us.
This blizzard won't go away.
There's no warmth to give.
100 degrees couldn't melt what surrounds us.
Welcome to this winter wonderland,
Not even a jacket could keep you warm.
It might be too late to save you from this storm.
