My Point of View
Sitting wrapped in covers to find
The comfort you used to provide
Worn out from spending the nights
praying for a way to make it alright
And my friends just stay away
'Cause they don't know how to make it okay
I never thought it would be this hard
For these cuts to turn into faded scars
They tell me I over-react
And that I need to relax
Take a deep breath
Before I do something rash
But they don't have a clue
Of how much I trusted you
And they just can't see it
From my point of view
How do you become fixable
and make the pain invisible
Because it's obvious I'm dying
But God knows that I'm trying
And even when I feel like I'm hollow
Our memories aren't easy to swallow
Hearts aren't an easy thing to repair
'Cause fallin out of love isn't fair
They tell me I over-react
And that I need to relax
Take a deep breath
Before I do something rash
But they don't have a clue
Of how much I trusted you
And they just can't see it
From my point of view
Sitting in the corner wrapped up in the covers
Like your arms used to wrap around me
Waiting for my heart to make a full recovery
The brokenness is something only I can see
They tell me I over-react
And that I need to relax
Take a deep breath
Before I do something rash
But they don't have a clue
Of how much I trusted you
And they just can't see it
From my point of view
