Lilliana Rose “My Baby Girl”
She is so beautiful just like her mother.
Just too bad I never truly ever met her.
She wasn’t made of my flesh and blood.
The love for her in my heart just floods.
Lord why did you take her out our hands?
‘Cause I was going to do the best I can.
To be the father I always wanted to be.
I just want my baby girl to call me daddy.
I want to see her take her first steps.
As my baby girl learns how to walk.
I want to hear her say the word "da-da".
As my baby girl learns how to talk.
God took her home to heaven above
But forever she has my fatherly love.
Goodbye forever, my baby girl, goodbye.
Sleep in peace tonight as I close my eyes.
Lilly know that forever outlasts our goodbye.
There is no need for tears anymore.
Pretty soon I’ll see you on heaven’s shore.
I want to see her take her first steps.
As my baby girl learns how to walk.
I want to hear her say the word "da-da".
As my baby girl learns how to talk.
God took her home to heaven above.
But forever she has my fatherly love.
Goodbye and goodnight, my baby girl.
Goodbye and goodnight, so goodnight.
Rest in peace tonight our baby girl.
After god took you we’ve lost our world.
Rest in peace tonight our baby girl.
After god took you we’ve lost our world.
Rest in peace tonight our baby girl.
So thankful that you’re not in a sinner’s world.
Sleep tight Lilly this is your eternal lullaby.
What kills me is that I never told you goodbye.
Sleep tight Lilly this is your eternal lullaby.
What kills me is that I never told you goodbye.
