Finally
after all these years,
i can finally call you mine,
growing old with you isn't my fear,
your beauty can only age like a great fine wine.
all those other guys were practice,
you studied, and now were taking the test,
your getting the answers right, your in the highest bracket,
you've proved to me that i'm better than the rest.
when i first saw you i couldn't blink,
your glasses fogged my eyes,
my mind was racing, i couldn't think,
as if you were a checkered flag, i want to win you, why?
i know i'm not perfect,
your the reason i've pushed my demons out,
your the electrician who knows my circuits,
finally, someone knows what i'm all about.
