Farewell (I'll Come Back)
I haven't been getting anywhere with this. Missing out on every touch and kiss.
Just to wait for you, when that gets me nowhere. Does that really seem fair?
I've done my best, gave my all. Who knew the girl I love would be my downfall?
So I'm packing up, taking off. Say your farewells so I don't grow soft.
Look into my eyes, see the pain? It's my fault but your doing.
But I won't be gone forever. I'll come back. farewell to you, welcome a new crack,
in my heart. Sinking down to the floor; all this pain I have is impossible to explore.
I have a broken heart, a horrid perception. This is the touchdown pass and he's the interception.
I ask, you answer in the same way. It's been a year and I'm in fear of the next words words you'll say.
Farewell for now, but I'll come back. I'm in hell, my will has fallen slack.
I feel alone, but I see the road. i'm not gone, but I only glowed,
Maybe once in your eyes. Afraid of the future, full of lies.
I've screwed up a bit, so I'm saying my farewells. S***.
So when you want me to come back, give me a call. I'll pick up and won't let you fall.
I wont fail you; I'll better your heart and make light out of the dark.
I hate myself for falling in love with you. i say it a lot, it's true.
But to understand, you'd have to be like me. That wouldn't be a good thing.
All I've done is trouble you. Now, it's time I pay for being so rude.
I'm sorry for everything I've done. All I can do now is run.
But I can't run too far. I need you around to calm the war,
I have inside my mind. It's insane and you say it's fine.
But it's not, it's getting worse. Better, to me, has no worth.
