Reflections
The stars past reflections shine in the skies,
I see God’s sparkled stars, gleaming in your eyes,
Oh there’s so much that was unsaid,
As you're still nestled, deep in my head,
I look at the sky,
And all I see are stars,
I watch time speed so fast,
Flying like highway cars,
Looking at my reflection,
Hoping I'm getting better too,
Oh Lord I hope I’m pretty for you,
You laugh when I say
I want to live alone,
But that life can be lived,
If you have a heart of stone,
Whoa, I see reflections page through the sky,
To think I even needed a guy,
Who am I kidding,
I can only fake for so long,
This blessed unrest is what feels so wrong.
