Inspired by Invictus MAG
The mammoth mountain looms ahead,
Spitting wind, ice, and some fire.
But I gaze past the slopes dyed red
On the Elysium I desire.
The beating heart of Tartarus
Goads me to scurry up the slope.
But I am my own impetus:
Within me burn glimmers of hope.
Wiping sweat and tears from my brow,
I stumble when the angels call.
But I will fulfill my life vow,
I will destroy the mighty Wall.
Life carries a burdensome weight,
Many crumple into this Hole,
But I'm the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
