My love
As the lights streamed through the stained glass,
Pictures from the scene clouded my mind.
The dirge played and they were one mass.
It was my love they could easily find,
He was in the front after all.
Surrounded by flowers all around.
Sadness was all I could recall,
Condolences piled in a mound.
My love left me for good this time,
My mouth opened but no words spoke.
There was no words I could mime,
Just sadness I could only soak.
