Stepping on Graves
My heart beats
With each breath.. I take notice --
WITHOUT YOU.
My lungs freeze --
Words frozen.. I think home
is WITH YOU.
A little lost, locked inside
Dark and shallow, empty eyes
Stealing meaning from the clouds
Calling for you… not even
GREETED with an ECHO.
One world between us… ONE separation
One God, who leaves us with both love, and desperation..
Feet may fail, but fail me not --
One last hour.. A little lost.
My smile breaks
With each step.. I’m free-falling --
CATCH ME.
My hope strays
With each day.. Our true calling? The
CASKET.
A little torn, locked away
Darkened mornings, empty days
Stealing meaning from the grave
Calling for help.. not even
GREETED with an ECHO.
One world between us… ONE separation
One God, who leaves us with both love, and desperation..
Feet may fail, but fail me not --
One last hour.. A little lost.
