Tried To Tell You
Many times I've tried to tell you, other times I just yell at you. All because you need to know the truth. I'm not some heroic savior, haven't you noticed my unruly behavior? There's no point in trying to change you. There's really nothing I could do.
Other times I try to force you, to be someone that's not you. No matter how hard I try, nothing's ever going to turn out alright. I've been hoping that after all this time, I could still have you by my side.
Many times I've tried to tell you, other times I scream at you. All because the stupid things you do. I'm not some angel from above, truth is I know nothing about love. There's no point in trying to change you, there's nothing more that I could do.
A million times, I give you signs. All you do is just walk on by, when you say something it's just a lie. I know I've pushed you beyond your limits, some days I still wish you were in this, yes there's a lot of things about you I do miss. Some times I still think that you're mine, other days I just need you out of my life.
I've been different without you here, yet again you were my fear. Years ago, you were someone better, now I can't see us together. I moved on, I've found somebody new. He's not going to change, because he's nothing like you.
Many times I've tried to tell you, other days, I yell at you. I've tried to tell you, tried to tell you, tried to tell you, just yell at you, tried to tell you. I tried to tell you.
Truth is I haven't moved on, I've been changing since you were gone.
