dreams
(verse 1) the same plain mundane thing day after day, it gets repetitive wouldn't ya say, push through the default don'ts and dos until the next morning brews. get dressed put on your shoes and move to school with only a diploma to lose,
the need for success is immense And the stress is intense feels like you never get to rest, try your best on the test trying to get ahead of the rest,
nevertheless stuck in a rut and your creativity is swept up under a rug what are you gonna do with this life you've dug.
Options are so limited, yet you're so fed up with it. Looking for change and only find the opposite. If someone gave you a chance you would be on top of it.
After an afternoon of always aiming at a target to Pursue.Shifting through commotion. bottling up emotion. Walk your tired feet to your room with only more homework to do,
up all night no time to sleep. When you're trying to keep all A's and B's.
Semesters over and at peace. Lay in bed and dream. Follow them no matter how hard it seems.
( verse 2) Beep beep wide awake, thanks to your alarm clock. Rush around while the clock tick tock's.
Run out the door of your house. Rush back in and grab everything that you forgot. The vicious cycle won't stop. Knee deep in snow trying to find your parking spot.
waking from your dream just to see reality. Makes you feel like you're living in an onslaught. All this time spent whether you want or not.
Experience gained but little of it needs to be saved. Let's be real here, who has used anything learned in algebra 2. if you're on the same page and rage at the same things and want to change then simply do so.
when I was in trouble I had to jump tumble out of the rubble so I guess it's the struggle that keeps me humble. so if it's ever you that stumbles just keep a rebuttal under your belt buckle if you don't have a team to huddle ain't a need to be subtle.
My point remains the same. When dreams are made. It's up to you to keep them saved. Make them yours, Pursue them regardless what they say, because it's up to you to chase and make them yours one day.
(chorus) Every time that I close my eyes. Drift away in the place that i'd rather stay. Bright lights and the stage life with fans always coming my way. Every time that I close my eyes. Every night is a new sight with a place to be. and i'm the star that everybody pays to see
