If these walls could talk,

I know they'd confess

that they've seen it all,

rehearsal to sunset.

Not judging, knowing only God could love me,

when possessions are nothing

and living is lovely.

When the moon stays up

and we're all so hungry;

hungry for the knowledge

and thirsty to succeed.

When money corrupts us

and its the only thing you see.

Where did the trees go?

Only green is currency.

Air gets thick and you struggled to breathe.

Praying to the god that you never believed,

hoping he sends someone to set you free.

Yeah, you scream

Free me from this psychopathic movie,

But you're stuck...

With nothing but habitual practices,

of not counting on the aftermath.

Never seeing the next factor;

You mean beyond Genesis there's another chapter?

It was only the beginning?

Got yourself twisted and the earth ain't forgiving.

Better hope money will get you upstairs,

because the answer sure as hell isn't sinning.
