Bedtime Stories
Child to adult,
Men to Women,
But
All you had,
All I had,
Were bedtime stories to company till death.
Some were happy endings,
Some were sad,
Some were twisted,
In a knot or to shreds,
But
All you had,
All I had,
Were bedtime stories to company till death.
What if Cinderella didn’t wear a glass shoe instead,
What she wore was wooden clogs with thread.
What if sleeping beauty was never asleep,
Just deep with some poison that seep.
What if the wolf from little red riding hood did not held any threat,
But just wanted to be loved by red.
What if the little mermaid didn’t get her human legs,
Would she chop off her golden tail?
What if the little pigs were so heavy,
The big bad wolf couldn’t blow them away.
What if goldilocks were to sleep in papa bear’s bed?
Would she be dead?
Twisted tales, twisted minds,
Thousands of stories yet all gave joy to our minds,
But
All you had,
All I had,
Were bedtime stories to company till death
