One Day
One day when the sky was blue,
I told you I loved you
You stared back at me,
With eyes as deep as the sea
Now I’m sitting here,
waiting for you to break the silence
I’m wondering if you ever will;
I’m wondering if you’ve ever tried
One day when the sky was blue,
We sang our favorite tune
Now and then I think of you
And I wonder if you think of me too.

This poem is about telling someone special for the first time that you love them, and how scary that step in life is. I hope people can relate to this poem because it happens to people everyday. I wrote this poem right after I told someone that I loved them, so that's what inspired me to write this!
