The Story of Invisible
An invisible girl sits in the back of the class with her head down
They think she hungover or stoned
They pay no mind when she picks her head up
Most of the time she goes unknown
An invisible girl, she walks alone
So sad she's always had no one
And her invisible heart breaks every night
What a tragedy to have an invisible life
An invisible girl passes unseen like a ghost
She's made of glass, covered in cracks
Her silent screams, they go unheard
A train's coming, and she's standing on the tracks
An invisible girl, she walks alone
So sad she's always had no one
And her invisible heart breaks every night
What a tragedy to have an invisible life
An invisible girl writes her life down on a sheet of paper
She pins it to her shirt and stands on a chair
She wipes her tears and tries to remember
No one will notice if she's not here
An invisible girl ties a rope around her neck and ends her invisible life
Such a shame it had to end this way, cold and alone behind her door
Her story is printed in the paper
Suddenly she's not invisible anymore
An invisible girl, she walked alone
So sad she never had someone
Her invisible heart broke for the last time
The night she ended her invisible life
Such a tragedy to have an invisible life
