Beautiful Enough
I like the things you do
more than the words you say
And the face of the grey city
more than the way you imagine it
I like the cracks in the concrete
and all the stones on the way
I don't need goals to remember
that something is touching me
Chorus:
But everything should and everything must
everything goes and everyone wants
To be perfect, to be perfect!
Are we never beautiful enough?
Is the world never beautiful enough?
Are we never beautiful enough,
The way we are
We are way too tired or even blind.
We close both eyes
and want to recognize everything
And try to explain love
In a thousand wonderful words
The entire world must be ours
from the sky to the sea
And when we look in the mirror
We see ourselves no more
Chorus:
But everything should and everything must
everything goes and everyone wants
To be perfect, to be perfect!
Are we never beautiful enough?
Is the world never beautiful enough?
Are we never beautiful enough,
the way we are
We are always way too tired or blind
Sometimes I'd like to be less of everything
But still enough
I want to be without plans and ways
But somehow good!
Without solutions and perfections
And without attracting attention
I want to be myself, I want to be myself
Are we ever beautiful enough?
Is the world ever beautiful enough?
Are we ever beautiful enough,
The way we are
We are always way too tired or blind
