Headed to the Bottom
It seems like the sky is crashing down.
Rain drops all around me.
In the middle of no where.
Leaving everything behind me.
And it always rains at night.
But I can see where I'm going.
There is fog on the forest floor.
But my feet keep on walking.
I'm headed to the bottom and l've never see so clear.
It's everyone around me that paved my way to here.
So now I stand against all odds and make my home in a broken place.
And people on the outside think I've fallen flat on my face.
But I am fine.
The wind blows in winter.
Snow blankets the ground.
Some how it seems peaceful,
To have no one around.
The sun only shines for an hour.
So I'll live in the other twenty-three.
The dark is where I was made.
And I guess thats where I'll always be.
I'm headed to the bottom and l've never see so clear.
It's everyone around me that paved my way to here.
So now I stand against all odds and make my home in a broken place.
And people on the out side think I've fallen flat on my face.
But I am fine.
I'm sorry Mom and Dad.
that I live in such solitude.
And I have my share for regrets.
One being my attitude...
I'm sorry for how I acted.
But not for who I am.
Or the detours in my journey.
That got me wher I am.
I'm headed to the bottom and l've never see so clear.
It's everyone around me that paved my way to here.
So now I stand against all odds and make my home in a broken place.
And people on the out side think I've fallen flat on my face.
But I am fine.
