Flooded Streets
Hello, hello
Are you also bored?
Annoyed and stressed
by the narrowness of the city
Are you also tired?
The streets, the people, the masses
Aren't you sick of it?
I can't breath anymore
Can barely see the sky
The skyscrapers have blocked out my soul
I'm always available but haven't reached anything
I can't stand it anymore
Let's get out of here
Let Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne behind us
Will the rain stop flooding streets?
Will we finally be able to hear the sea and waves again?
Let's go, go, go!
Let Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne behind us
Will people stop asking questions?
And finally listen to the sea and waves again?
Let's go, go, go!
The city swallows the quiet with flickering lights
Swallows days and nights like nothing
Stressed faces in the moving mass
Everyone must go everywhere, fast
Between the lines I read,
that both of us want to dissapear
But we are stuck here
buried in the rain
And we dream of summers in Sweden
Let Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne behind us
Will the rain stop flooding streets?
Will we finally be able to hear the sea and waves again?
Let's go, go, go!
Let Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne behind us
Will people stop asking questions?
And finally listen to the sea and waves again?
Let's go, go, go!
