Don't Bother to Care
When they were younger, times were not the best
No one ever saw her like this
They fought all the time
Now she’s leaving…
It’s rough, so rough
She took care of him everyday
Doing all she can,
But that wasn’t enough
For him, for him
Friends say, “You have to move on and not turn back.
Don’t worry what he’s saying, and start to pack.
You got friends and family, that’s enough.
So leave, I know it’ll be tough.”
[Chorus:]
Hey, you’re almost there
Hey, don’t bother to care
He wants to fix it, but don’t you dare
Hey, don’t bother to care
Your husband is begging you to stay
You can’t live this way
He doesn’t see the games he plays
It’s rough, so rough
She thinks to herself it will improve
When she says she’s leaving
He tells her,
“Honey, I’ll change, don’t move…
…You have to move on and not turn back.
Don’t worry what he’s saying and start to pack.
You got friends and family, that’s enough.
So leave, I know it’ll be tough.”
[Chorus]
Don’t bother to care
You have to move on if you like it or not
No matter what, it will soon be forgot
[Chorus 2x and fading]
