Lights Of The City
I’m taking time for me
to walk the rooftops of the city,
to take a look at life,
and come to a stop
Everything looks so small,
inconspicuous, remote, and far
Life pulsates here,
far away from me
I’ll settle back
And enjoy this happiness
I’m taking time for me
to look at the lights of the city,
to walk along the rooftops,
and come to a stop
I’m feeling free up here
The horizon is infinite and wide
The city below me, like a sea of lights
There are so many questions,
a thousand wishes, a thousand thoughts
I’m alone with myself
and give the dreams some time
I straighten my world out,
everyday life flies right by
Away from the pursuit of life,
I feel free
I’ll settle back
And enjoy this happiness
I’m taking time for me
to look at the lights of the city,
to walk along the rooftops,
and come to a stop
I’m feeling free up here
The horizon is infinite and wide
The city below me, like a sea of lights
Everything looks so small
Life pulsates far away from here
I’m taking time for me
to look at the lights of the city,
to walk along the rooftops,
and come to a stop
I’m feeling free up here
The horizon is infinite and wide
The city below me, like a sea of lights
I’m taking time for me
to look at the lights of the city,
and come to a stop
