I Understood
We were standing face to face. My heart set off to a wild chase. I couldn't think what to say. How can we live like this everyday? The sun starts to fade, turning to a shade of grey. Do you care anyway? We used to laugh and smile. Wasn't until a while ago. Well now you know the truth- it's killing you. There's nothing I can do. I can't re-do our past, that's left so fast. I can't go back in time even if the past was mine.
Days later you say you're sorry. There's nothing you can say to me to change. It's kind of strange, what's going on. Before too late it's already gone. Oh, if only you could see how differently you're treating me. I thought that you, might be able to take in the truth, apparently you don't care about what you do. There's something inside. Something you're trying to hide. I don't think you can decide. Do you even know? That I don't want to let go.
It's messed up. We're twisted around, flying upside down. A staring silence so loud. Oh, you. If only you had soemthing to change, what to do? We're falling with no end. Somewhere in this road we're gonna bend. Didn't know what went wrong? I had no clue, as to you.You had everything that I needed. Left alone alone, no place to go, nowhere to call home. Looking at the stars in the sky, praying tonight will be the last of this never-ending fight.
Told me it was alright when it was a down-right lie. And when I looked into your eyes, I saw something that made me realize, everything was only a disguise. No one understood.
Except me.
