Lady Bird
Burnt by arson
The frame will fall down
Burnt from anger
The memories vanished again
I have been built on charred soil
Countless times
Ive been burnt one last time
And im actually done this time
Lady bird oh lady bird
Fly home
Your heart and family
All gone
How can such a pretty bird
Rebuild her home?
Oh lady bird oh lady bird
Fly to your now destined home
My wings are singed
And smell like smoke
Ive been shot down by a poison arrow
A ghost lives in that place
That once called home
No children will sing today
As the birds flown home
Lady bird oh lady bird
Fly home
Your heart and family
All gone
How can such a pretty bird
Rebuild her home?
Oh lady bird oh lady bird
Fly to your now destined home
But afar from this pity cry
The pheonix will rise
And she shall spread her wings and begin to fly
And this will not be the obituary of a soul like mine
Because i have been shot down a thousand times
And I know that I will be shot down many more times
So i will never be hurt from any arrows that fly
Because you cant kill me
And I will still be alive
But I will gain more fire.

This poem was based off of the mother goose rhyme "Lady bird" where someone loses everything to a fire exept for her little Anne. I then compared it losing friendships in life, and in life (especially in high school) you will lose friends indefintiely. And no matter how harsh it is, or how hurtful it is; Your'e always stronger and better off in the end.
