My dear friend
To whom it may concern,
My daylight and muse, emotions of lust.
Day one, when we met, I knew you were it.
A heart full of gold, and love all around.
I know you’ll be there, when I need you most.
Even though you remain hidden, you’re there.
Youthful nights of passion and silly games.
Tea parties and Hello Kitty dances.
All-nighters, mini naps, and adventures.
But sometimes people start to drift apart.
I’m sorry to say, I’m all out of play.
Soon you’ll have another for all day play.
Even though I may leave you in a bin
You’re the best stuffed dream I could ever have.
To whom it may concern, goodbye for now.
