My Last War
The sunlight rises in the dark of night
I suddenly see all the death around
I think Satan and I might reunite
I feel as if I’m in a hunting ground
I see Satan standing there with a knife
He walked towards me and then the world was dark
He said to look around and see the life
I look around to see a friendly lark
I look back at Satan and see him mad
I feel a beast stuck in my bones and soul
I hurt so I take the knife in sadness
I cut myself to help with my black hole
My blood dripped off my hand and to the floor
My tears fall on the ground of my last war

I wrote this to read to my class. Poetry is my way of sharing how I feel. This poem is about how I feel inside. I suffer from depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I'm only a teenager. Life is hard with these because it will never be 'normal'. What I give to you is a description of what happens in my head all the time. I hope you enjoy it.
