The Night Cries With Me
The fire that shattered my broken heart
Kindles my sorrows, doesn't let me depart
The cold air, directionless, full of unrest
Awaits me with its unwanted zest
A hundred voices were calling on my name
Before the night of horror came
I've lived so long with these sorrows
With the dim sun, awake in all morrows
There came a tide that touched the moon
There smiled a man that was to die soon
My drowning soul laughs at me
Yet the howling night cries with me
