Sonnet Two
We: young, loving looking at skies to dream
Our dreams alive: all white, as soft a dove
Young once passion contained our minds,
love steam
And our hearts longed to see life from above
Travel away we sought to purpose ties
Our hands: veins red, passionate, fire lit, lightning
We still could not see right, above our skies
The Dreams watching, grab our hearts: tightening
Night came, showing stars bright, they are guiding
Searching with lightened touch, into the dark
Dark sinks into our scars, we are dying
No stops toward our dreams: making our mark
We yet make it: striving toward the skies
So let us die, joining heavens tides.

One of my first times playing around with a sonnet. This poem is very vulnerable to me, encapsulating one of the ways we can all interpret dreams, and how we can or can't achieve them. I hope you enjoy!
