Going Away
Amidst the dusk, I bid farewell,
Embarking on journeys far and wide,
What happens on this venture, none can tell
My heart being my only guide
The hearth that warmed, now a fading flow,
Distance stretches, uncertainty cast their veil,
Yet day by day, I continue to grow,
Singing songs of hope on a winding trail.
Through valleys deep and mountains towering,
Never looking back in the past,
Each step with a fall, in the process of wandering,
The thought of failures, long past.
Though parted with the place where comes my name,
It stays in my heart, all the same.
