government
Amidst the corridors of power, they sway, A labyrinth of rules, a sovereign might, Where politics in shadows dance all day, And governance unfolds its grand, fraught fight.
Beneath the marble halls, whispers abound, Of promises made, and favors exchanged, Yet truth oft buried, in the noise, profound, Where ambition's flame is ever rearranged.
O Government! Thy duty, sacred bound, To serve the people, lift them from despair, Yet oft thy gaze upon the throne is found, And not upon the burdens they must bear.
Yet hope persists, in hearts that dare to dream, That governance might shine, a brighter gleam
