Flowers In Antarctica
There are flowers blooming in Antarctica,
Can you hear me, Angelica?
A polar bear lying in a flower bed,
Just how long ‘till it starts to shed?
Afraid of aliens and asteroids
Ending our progression.
But really it's mankind
Leading our extinction.
Angry air aggravating all living creatures.
How long ‘till we acknowledge these features?
Or would you prefer to sit in the dark,
While climate change reaches over the ark,
Clasping mankind in its ferociously filed fingers,
And squeezing ‘till there’s little left that lingers?

While I am submitting this for my class, I did enjoy expressing my concerns about climate change and how a lot of people refuse to acknowledge this major issue.
