Ode to the Dark
Ode to the Dark,
A mysterious journey we must all embarque.
The calm silence, the absence of light,
O how I adore it, I live for the night.
The somber sky covers my eyes
The dark, I become capsized.
The urge to slumber, I lose my emprise.
O how I fantasize, deep into the night sky.
But the night will no longer thrive,
As morrow must eventually arrive.
The blaze in the heavens, slowly pierces the dusk.
O how I miss the dark, yet I trust it will return, it must.
As I regain energy, I begin to miss the twilight,
My eyes are pierced by the light, but please remain hark,
It will return at dusk, Ode to the Dark.
