The Newborn Life
Starting off as a baby with no worries
With their innocent little faces oh my
So very calm just like the flowing trees
Moms take care of their child to satisfy
Constant tears shedding out those sweet sweet eyes,
Like rain dripping down the forest green leaves,
Mothers trying to understand those cries,
Stealing away the mother’s sleep like thieves
What is worrying you oh little one
My eyes and ears won’t always work you know
My tiredness seems like it has won
These eye bags are starting to grow
Oh little one please don’t cry
I think longingly with a deep sigh
