My Perfect Daughter
In my hall of great inventions,
with spirit docile (it should always be),
stands the crown of my collections-
the perfect daughter- smiling placidly.
So silently she heeds my call,
demure, this girl objects to no demand.
Because I’ve given her no voice at all,
she can’t refuse to follow my command.
She wants forever only to submit,
and takes the blame when blameless.
But one more thing and then you will admit
that my creation is completely flawless.
Just put your finger to her wrist so small.
There is no pulse, no life to her at all!
