The Foolish Sculptor
The young and mighty sculptor of Cyprus
Never to marry, a women-hater
But upon all that, he wanted her lust
Will he soon fall in love or maybe later?
Her still beauty stole his heart and soul
The lifeless stone statue could not respond
She could not kiss back, he felt only cold
Needing her alive, he needed to bond
He prepared for the feast and was waiting
The prayers he made were soon clearly heard
He left home to find his lovely maiden
Now, in love with a woman he soon learned
Galatea, he’ll love her for millions
The foolish sculptor was Pygmalion
