Summer

The time of the year that brings us to joy/
The sun shining down its red-yellow rays/
Kidcs having fun while parents just annoy/
Kids have to play all these so many ways/
We're all ready for a good and long break/
Everyone waiting for the pool and beach/
And there are usually new friends to make/
Teachers happier because they don't teach/
When this is over, we go back to chores/
Sitting at home by yourself with no fun/
But when you're locked behind all of these chores/
Remember through the summer what you've done/
And maybe if we still believe in it/
You can all still have fun but bit by bit./
