Snowfall
They sit at the window watch it fall./
It slowly blankets the ground, bit by bit./
The snow is truly amazing to us./
And the roads outside are covered in it./
When we awake tomorrow you will see./
Why we all love the Christmas scene./
Our eyes will fill with winter hope./
You will see outside there is no green./
The roads are covered in ice and sleet./
The town is quiet as the wind blows./
A few people walk slowly down the street./
The piles of snow continue to grow./
But everyone around us still sleeps./
As the morning slowly starts to creep./
