Lost Love
Shining with the moon beams ‘round about you
Glistening tears, stars plummet from above
Your beauty overthrew me, and, I knew,
Never to behold, an unreturned love
Yet, as chance would have it, my luck had turned
For you had loved me, just as I to thee
So deeply our hearts passionately burned
Delightedly and happily lived we
My joy falling into a blind stupor
I realized not how our luck would end
Wistfully, blissfully, Shakespeare troupers
Clothed in black, your soul unable to mend
Subconsciously rubbing a lustrous ring
Waiting, waiting, when fate will cut my string
