Sonnet I
Sonnet I
The girl that I love is nobody new;
She is the greatest girl that I can see
When I see her, I know my love is true;
She’s the one girl with whom I want to be.
Her eyes are the brightest on planet Earth,
The brightest blue I ever will have seen;
She teaches me what my true love is worth,
And she teaches me what a fool I’ve been.
She’s the prettiest girl in all the world,
The most beautiful girl that’s in my life.
When I’m with her, my love becomes unfurled,
I hope someday I will make her my wife.
About her I have oh so much to say.
But, me being with her, there is no way.
