Dear Dad
The thought of you not being around hurts.
When you are gone, I'd be nothing at all.
If you leave now, my heart would ache and burst.
The pain you'll leave me is not oh so small.
You will be the missing piece in my heart.
If you leave it will never be the same.
Nobody will ever bring us apart.
My world was bright and sunny when you came.
When I really need you, you’re always there.
I turn down your help, and then regret.
People think if you leave I will not care.
I think you’ll be there, so I never fret.
Sometimes I know that I can treat you bad,
But I still love you because you’re my dad.
