Is my life blank like a book with no words
My life is dull and lacking many things
Am I missing something, no wings on birds
Am I a puppet hanging from some strings

I feel fragile and about to collapse
I feel like a house of cards that could fall
I feel like I may be useless perhaps
I wish this wasn’t hard, and could change it all

I don’t feel either courageous or strong
I feel like a wild lion past its prime
I always feel like I do not belong
I feel like I could be gone at any time

But when I am working out in the gym
I fade away and forget everything
