Identity Theft
I used to have an identify
But it ran away
Leaving me pining for the old days
I used to be funny, had a pretty face
Now all of that has been erased
The surface isn’t the problem
It’s what’s on the inside
Something alive in me died
I used to be vibrant
Now I’m bruised grey
Sad and transparent
I don’t want to be this way
I used to have confidence
But that’s gone too
what I miss most of all
Is the way I felt about you
