Why can’t you just leave me?
Just let me slip away.
Fall into the ocean,
And drift among the waves.
Don’t try to hold my head up,
As I slip below.
Send me sweet goodbyes,
As I give into the oceans tow.
Don’t try to warm me up,
From the icy water’s chill.
Let the darkness take me,
Let me have one last thrill.
Why can’t you just leave me?
I’d be better off alone.
My heart’s been ripped wide open,
But still you feel like home.
