Sonnet for Sophie the Dog (English Sonnet)

Never can be more true, bark worse than bite
Loud as a jet, pierces like an arrow
The first one to growl, the last to fight
Coat of grey, long ears, nose that is narrow

This dog is no dog, but a demon’s spawn
Hazel eyes, cropped tail, evil in its eyes
It barks, scratches, bites, and poops on the lawn
Shedding is minimal to my surprise
Keeps me up all night so I feel groggy

But what can I do you are my doggy
