"Parading Through Darkness"
The hate that shines through the darkest day,
Illuminates none.
Hate itself is darkness,
It shines no way.
Love is the light,
Yet dimmed always.
But for not another day.
For never all the clouds will lift,
The sun free for praise.
But, yet, without clouds, would we be praying to praise?
Never unconditionally,
Nor without warrant.
But we can sustain and will look back and laugh, someday.
Then.
