Flood Riders
The waters rush, depleting everything.
White riders ride their foamy horses down.
The floodwater rushing, fast and dark brown,
Ruins everything. Many deaths they bring.
The white horses ride, bringing dark despair.
They ride down, in front of the dark waters.
Engulfing everyone, even daughters.
The floodwaters rush down without compare.
Many people wail, mourning for their lives.
They understand they will not survive this.
Amazingly the waters, they will miss.
The white horses ride, the people don’t die.
They are spared from the foamy white horses,
That ride with death, from their dark, dank sources.
