A Place of Peace
Walking along this beach so magnificent, surely this could not be real.
The waves rush flawless water.
Now I am running, running with my toes
In the fine warm sand.
My eyes are closed, with arms wide open
Gently letting the strong, crisp wind
Carry me to a peaceful place.
A place of peace.
Even the crabs in the sand are fond.
I love listening to the waves
The children laughing
And watching the sun go down— hour by hour
After a day in the warm sun
An hour in the cool water is refreshing
Gently riding the waves, enjoying the beach
So pure.
A place of peace, surely is a beach.
