Alone

Stuck between here and the middle
Confusion takes over my mind
Its like I’m helpless, its like I’m little
Something hit’s me and then I’m blind

Unaware of my surroundings
I just want all of this to end
If only I could wish upon something
I need a hand, I need a friend

Standing by my lonesome without direction
Wanting to wake from this nightmare
I’m on my own, I need protection
This feeling is nothing that I can compare

Father and mother come out if you dare
Tear me from this pain, of which I can no longer bare

i wrote this while my parents were going through a divorce and i had to choose whether to stay with my mom or my dad.
